About our upcoming album!

Upon Shadows annouced new album to be realease the next 18 of october/2019. 

The album is called "Modern Obscurantism" and consists of 10 songs.

Mixed and mastered by Mika Pohjola at Soundmix Studios, in Oulu, Finland. 

The album will be released on CD by Ground Media Group, (https://www.facebook.com/groundmediagroup).

Digital format will be available wroldwide throught Spotify, iTunes, Bandcamp, YouTube, Amazon  and more.

Lineup:

Natalia Arocena - bass.

Tamara Picardo - Keyboard, guitar & vocals.

Drums by the Finnish secessionist drummer Joonas Alaräihä.

About the concept of our new album:

It establishes a parallelism between the obscurantism of the Middle Ages the new forms of control and censorship...

Reminding us of the importance of keeping rebelliousness alive and fighting for utopias.
